Anyone (except Stephen) who manages to reply to this thread between now and the cruise can ask me for a fiver (need to be able to prove it on the cruise!)

Assuming I still have a fiver left. Maybe I should just offer chocolate / tuck / whatever... it's probably more useful Wink

there is so much wrong with it it's funny. the boatyard guy told us to open the water cap with a rond anchor. most cupboards needed kicking. fuel tank's tiny. engine's rubbish. fuse for bilge pump blew twice. i could go on but i am bored

It's spelt 'coaming', without a 'b', but with an 'a'

I couldn't remember what you call the 'coaming' (not sure if it's that) where the sidedecks meet the topsides?

Technically the 'coaming' is the raised section around the edge of the cockpit (that keeps out any waves washing over the deck when you are heeling).

So, to sat 'below the coaming' may be better than 'under' it, but maybe I'm being picky Smile
