|

In an attempt to bring back a little sanity to the Forum, another serious question - but one about fun things.
Anyone taking over leading Logs n Shanties from Tom and Tim has got a hard act to follow, obviously. They have been awesome.
I think 'Lone Wolf' Freddie could be really good, and great fun.
Now the questions : Should he be on his own, or have two (joint-ish) leaders? If the latter, should the second leader be female?
A few names have been mentioned, and we should try and be positive and nice about everyone, but which people do you think could do it well?
Should it definitely be a girl?
Personally, I think so, because it is good to show that it is not just blokes who can do things (like falling in!). Or posting on the forum, for that matter - we only seem to have Sarah and sometimes Rachel as our occasional female presence. _________________ 'We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty' (HHGG) |

Johnny Corey and Noj ran L&S well on their own, but Tim and Tom have done it very well as a pair. I think it should be up to Freddie to decide whether he thinks he can manage, or else invite someone he feels he can work with. Imposing somebody else is never going to work! _________________ How can we see God face to face till we have faces? |

| I think Charlotte Thompson would be good as she's funny and freddie doing it on his own might be quite hard on him. We'll have to see. |

| I think Freddie would do it pretty well, he's naturally funny, you just look at him and laugh. Tom was saying ittl take pretty much the whole cruise for him to get an idea of what he's doing |

I agree with stephen, i defo think freddie could do it on his own. I don't have anything against a girl doing it with him but, say for example, charlotte, she funny but you cant make the kind of relationship that tim andtom had so you couldn't put 2 funny people together and expect it to work! _________________ If you were me; I'd be ugly |

That was so funny... Tom wasn't too happy about it I don't think!
Tom (Nichols) and Charlotte were joking about doing it together, I reckon they'd be able to pull it off (seeing the way they joke together so much, so many ideas!) - they even had a theme: Tom and Tompers!
(if you've never seen dumb and dumber, you might not get that one)
I can't see Freds getting a hang of what he's actually saying (feeling a lot of ummmmmms coming along) but he'll have no problem getting people laughing _________________ Why do things at the last minute? There's still 59 seconds you could wait around! |

Is that only if he scampers (not the best word... how do wolves really run?) back to Potter, and run Logs & Shanties every night on the launch until the next cruise? _________________ Why do things at the last minute? There's still 59 seconds you could wait around! |

I could've been far meaner, if I'd considered possible uses of the word 'logs' at the time...! _________________ Why do things at the last minute? There's still 59 seconds you could wait around! |

I think freddie will be very good. And no one should mke him have partner. Its like Dawn french and russell brand are both v good comediens but you cant just put them together and expect them to work well as a double act. _________________ If you were me; I'd be ugly |
