She's in York, I think she's somewhere a couple of miles to the north of me. _________________ How can we see God face to face till we have faces? |

fortunately we haven't had devastating flooding like some parts, but our river - the lovely ouse- generally floods every year at some point or other- which means lots of land training-today we ran round York's medeival walls which was quite enjoyable for a run
if you ever go to york make sure you walk round the walls |

As this started life as a topic about sailing, I thought it would be a good one to carry on with.
Yes, I was sailing (again) at the weekend, starting on Thursday evening, actually. On Friday we were heading up Meadow Dyke towards Horsey in pouring rain, and met the Summer Cruise sailing the other way - it started with Ed Foster and crew in a half-decker, then Eternal Hope hove into view, followed by Freddie and a few others, mostly trying to be determined to have fun despite the rain
Anyway, the rivers were utterly full of boats on Sunday, but we didn't stay for Bank Holiday Monday, which might have been even worse! _________________ 'We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty' (HHGG) |

Since I got back I haven't done nearly enough sailing!
Although I did crew for Rob Watson on his dart 18 a couple of times which was spectacular! |

Well you could use your administrator powers to censor it, or else we could issue a disclaimer:
"The Original Pathfinder Norfolk Broads Cruise accepts no responsibility for unchristian sentiments or language expressed in the linked video."
I've replaced it with the clean version anyway, which is possibly even funnier. _________________ How can we see God face to face till we have faces? |

Even better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owGykVbfgUE
The only CGI is the diamonds/etc in his hand; it's all filmed in one take. Genius
In that first video, I love how excited they are 'busting 5 knots'. Still a mindlessly dull song, though. _________________ Why do things at the last minute? There's still 59 seconds you could wait around! |
