Yeah. We had about three inches on Thursday and very little since then but also very little of it has melted.

P.S. I made anew topic because the forum appeared to have died.

Yep. We've had snow since last Thursday. The campus lake froze over at the weekend. Annoyingly, my mountain bike's chosen this time to break, so I've been riding in on the skinny-tyred road bike, feeling slightly nervous about any sudden interfaces with ice and the road surface. It's still here, starting to thaw but I believe the temerature's going to get colder again.

This morning's ride into work was at about -5 degrees Celsius, and felt extra cold. I stopped part way at a supermarket to warm up.

Seeing as it's only got to last 48 hours longer, and we've still got 4+ inches on the grass where no-one's walked, there's a fair chance we could have a white Christmas!

As for cycling road bikes...I'd be far too scared to do that! It'd be pretty hard to convince me to even take the mountain bike out...

The real question now is... who had a white Christmas?

Here are pictures I took while walking the dog on Christmas day. Plenty of snow still around in Sheffield!

I think it last snowed on the night of the 23rd.

it hasn't been warm though, where the snow was piled up high like in snowmen, there is still a small pile left on the ground
