I'm sure they'd be there and be able to run the up-front stuff, but it's very unlikely they'd want to organise the event behind-the-scenes (think how organised logs & shanties was this year... Wink)

If it was an official one then it would need a fair bit of organising by one of the main leaders, e.g. Paddy.

There's nothing to stop you meeting with other people yourselves. You have crew lists, people are only an email away!

As for Paddy, If I know anything, he'll deal with winding down this year's cruise, then he'll take a couple of months to not think about the cruise at all, then he'll start the long job of planning Easter 2011.

The thing about Woodbridge is that while there are a lot of you there already, it's a pain to get there for most other people. From York it would take me 2 changes, 5 hours and £50 on the train, and I live on the east coast mainline. You woodbridge people can see each other anyway, but if we are going to think about a reunion, it would make a lot more sense to have it in London or somewhere in the midlands.

That's a very good point - somewhere with good train access is ideal, and Woodbridge isn't so great for that!

What leaders live in those areas though that would be happy to organise a reunion?

Katie's got a good church hall but given the southern bias of the cruise, I doubt many people would want to travel to York.

i do have a good church hall and i'm sure we could organise something in york except that i doubt many people would turn up, although we'd have enough people to organise something, as greg and i are both here, and rebi's hopefully going to york uni this year

York is a very long way from Southampton Sad

Still, a reunion would probably be worth travelling for, as long as it was good and not right before exams!

Yeah, it would be worth travelling for, I'd go if I had nothing else on.
