Hey everyone Smile I've just put my cruise photos up on Facebook, in case you're interested. They'll probably make their way up onto Flickr for all to see sometime soon (when I get a chance!)

If anyone else has any photos they'd like on the broadscruise website (or even just want to let us know they've put some up on Facebook) do post below / get in touch with Greg or myself Smile

Mine are up on Facebook. How should I get them to you to go on the website?

I like a lot of Mark's photos - ,any of them are really nice pictures, as well as capturing some of the atmosphere of the Cruise.

Putting them on Flikr so they can be linked off the main BroadsCruise.org.uk website would be good.

Thanks Jeremy!

Luke, I'll have a think about that one. It might be easiest for you to upload them straight to the Flickr account (your dad probably knows the password, if he's put photos up in the past).

No, I have not put pictures on the Flikr webspace.

I have details for the main BroadsCruise.org.uk website, but the Flikr account is separate (I think).

Does Greg know how we can post stuff to it?
(obviously by private e-mail, not a public forum Smile)

Thanks - I've got the e-mail, and will get the log-in details to Luke to upload a batch of his photos (he took quite a few, but maybe 100 or so would be a representative selection)

Yes, approximately 100 per photographer is what I've tried to use in the past.

Picking this thread up, I've just noticed that there still aren't any photos up on the Flickr page!

It would be worth doing, especially as people will be looking to sign up for the cruise soon. I might go through and pick out a few now!

Well, after months of 'thinking about getting round to it', my pics of the 2011 Cruise are now up on the website. I've modified the Photos Page to include a link to the '2011 Collection' (otherwise it would be a bit pointless). More sets of photos from this year would be very welcome - Gareth has some that we may put up sometime soon.

Mark, did you take a load? Some of yours could be good (it's always useful to have different viewpoints, and mine don't have so many of people)

I've also put up the pictures of the Sail Training Weekend (as I was connected, and had them as a handy group on my PC).

We could have some from last year, although at the moment there isn't a '2010 Collection' - but that could be modified.

I've also put Gareth's pictures up on Flikr now - as another 'set' in the '2011 Collection', so there are three sets to look at, which is a start.

He took some really good pictures, and I whittled it down from the 500 which he took, initially to 300, then struggled to take loads more out and ended at 172. That's quite a big chunk, but as we are a bit slim on other people's pics, I put them up. He's got a good mixture of general images of sailing (quite a lot of really good images of our boats) and pictures of people and activities.

Anyone else's photos always very welcome, of course . . . Smile

I thought I'd replied to this already (maybe in another thread indirectly)... I actually never managed to take any photos this year! Might have a few other people on my boat took, but certainly not many.

If there's anyone who's posted a decent set of photos on Facebook then it might be worth contacting them and seeing if they'd be happy to have their photos up on Flickr.

From memory Poppy took quite a few (possibly mostly of people, which could be good). And also Jez took loads, his are pretty good and would definitely be worth going up.
